Trainer’s bio: Marcy Mullen, MSEd, MPH, PhDc is a former professor of Clinical Pathophysiology, Medical Genetics, Biomedical Ethics, and Immunology for SUNY Polytechnic Institute and the Sage Colleges in Upstate NY. Locally, she has taught nursing, public health, and kinesiology courses at Cuesta College, Allan Hancock, and Cal Poly. Previously, Marcy served as a clinical director of a LASIK surgery center, worked for nearly a decade as a medical technologist and EMT, conducted paternity determinations for Medicaid, and was the regional manager for newborn hearing screening services at Sierra Vista, Twin Cities, Marian Regional, and Cottage Health in Santa Barbara. In addition, she has been an instructor for the American College of Surgeons, American Heart Association, and the American Red Cross for more than 25 years. She is the sole-proprietor of MEd Training & Consulting Services in Morro Bay.
