June Luncheon Meeting

This month’s luncheon is at Stax Wine Bar & Bistro in Morro Bay and our featured speaker this month will be Jill Stearns, Superintendent/President of Cuesta College. She is the seventh person to fill this position.

Dr. Stearns has served as president of Modesto Junior College before coming to Cuesta College. Previously, she served as the vice president of educational services, the interim associate dean of student learning outcomes, and director of financial aid at West Hills College. Dr. Stearns also spent three years in the classroom as a teacher at Avenal High School.

SBWN is a non-profit organization open to all women on all job levels and in every occupation that wishes to share ideas, build friendships, and exchange support needed for personal and professional growth. The meeting fee, which includes informative speakers, beautiful venue, networking and lunch, is $20 for members and $25 for guests. Reservations due the Friday before luncheon.
