Join us for a presentation by Ed Cabrera, vice-president of The League of Women Voters, SLO. The LWV has been educating voters for over 100 years. As part of their mission, the League produces a written analysis of propositions on the ballot in California. This provides unbiased information on ballot measures in clear, easy-to-understand language. The goal is to help you decide whether to vote Yes or No on each measure. Also, the local League holds events to discuss these propositions with live audiences.
You will receive an explanation of each of the 10 propositions on this November’s ballot, background on the propositions, identification of the opposing sides and their funding, and most importantly, their opposing arguments. Time will be set aside after the presentation to answer your questions.
The meeting fee includes a meal of soup and sandwiches from The Savory Palette. Wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
We hope to see you there for a fun evening of networking and education!
If you wish to pay at the door, email us your RSVP at info@sbwn.org
