While learning the identity of my biological father, I also uncovered a plethora of other secrets involving my mother, her siblings, her parents, and her grandparents… none of which I expected. The second half of this presentation explores the extenuating capacity of DNA testing and how the understanding of genetics and mathematics can ascertain biological relationships, despite generations of presumed ancestry.
