2013 Donation to Women’s Shelter

South Bay Women’s Network (SBWN) presented a check for $1000 to Women’s Shelter Program of San Luis Obispo. The money was raised at the South Bay Women’s Network 2012 Holiday Dinner & Benefit.

SBWN Treasurer Arlene Triplett presented the check to Marianne Kennedy, Executive Director of Women’s Shelter Program of SLO.

2012 Scholarship Awarded

South Bay Women’s Network have selected Nicole Oliveros and Kim Jolicoeur as recipients of the 2012 SBWN Educational Scholarship Fund, a scholarship program which supports local women pursuing an education. Potential recipients either applied themselves or were nominated, and each was required to be a female Cuesta College re-entry student.

Funds for these scholarships were raised at the 2012 Summer Evening Mixer and our Pennies from Heaven meeting fundraiser.

South Bay Women’s Network, a professional business women organization, is pleased to announce the launch of its newly revamped website www.sbwn.org.

In its almost 30 year history, SBWN has served its members with information on starting and growing their own businesses while supporting local community programs.

The new and improved website offers information about SBWN in an organized and interactive way with more benefits for our members and guests. Some of the features on the new site include an Online Membership Directory, Event Calendar, Photo Gallery, Member Announcements and Event Booking.
